OUTLINE
Thesis statement : Both types of eating disorders are caused by two factors namely internal factors and external factors.
Cause: Internal factors; confident
Transitions: However, internal factors are not the only factors that make teenagers experience eating disorders, but external factors also have a big effect on eating disorders.
Cause: First, peer influence
Cause: A second, bullying peers.
Cause: A third, the influence of mass media.
Cause: Finally, family influence
Effect: Consequently, internal factor and external factor has bad impact to boost person become anorexia nervosa and binge eating disorder.
Conclusion: Eating disorders often occur among teenagers, especially young women. There are two factors that cause a person to experience eating disorders, namely internal factors, and external factors.

EATING DISORDERS AMONG TEENAGERS
Eating disorders are different attitudes to foods that cause a person to change his eating behaviors and habits. This can be a serious condition that negatively impacts one's health, emotions, and abilities against important areas of life. Eating disorders are common among teenagers. There are two types of eating disorders that often occur among teenagers they are anorexia nervosa and binge eating disorder, both types of eating disorders are caused by two factors namely internal factors and external factors.
Internal factors in eating disorders are common among teenagers, especially among women. One of the main reasons eating disorders that often occur in women is the fact that the cultural standards of western society to strengthen the desire to be thin. Basically, the main effect of eating disorders is lack of confidence. This confidence is related to body image. This body image is a term that refers to a person's perception of physical appearance. The physical appearance that is not in accordance with what is expected adolescents, can cause adolescents are not satisfied with his own body. These teenagers usually always attach importance to physical appearance, therefore, they are dieting for their physical appearance as expected. Lack of confidence is what makes teenagers experience eating disorders. This factor causes adolescents to suffer anorexia nervosa disorder.
However, internal factors are not the only factors that make teenagers suffer eating disorders, but external factors also have a big effect on eating disorders. These external factors include:
First, peer influence. Adolescence is the time when they seek their identity. Lifestyle and the mindset of adolescents are strongly influenced by peers. But the inequality in various things including the physical feared to cause him isolated and damaging confidence. Peers can cause eating disorders, such as weight loss because of envy with peers or with the wrong eating habits affected. Eating disorders caused by this factor is binge eating disorder.
A second, bullying peers. Teenagers who experience bullying by peers is usually going to experience stress and in the end, he had an eating disorder called binge eating disorder that consumed many foods in a short time. This eating disorder occurs because a person experiencing stress. Teens who experience bullying by peers are at higher risk of eating disorders than teenagers who have never experienced bullying by peers.
A third, the influence of mass media. Mass media affect the occurrence of eating disorders. the mass media gives the impression that the ideal body is a thin body and the average teenager is affected by the television that displays their idol with an attractive physical appearance. Young men and women who want to look like their idol in this mass media influence the occurrence of binge eating disorder.
Finally, family influence. The influence of family and child's approach to parents is one of the causes of eating disorders. Parents who always emphasize their children to have a body that suits their wants, such as giving negative comments about their weight. This factor will cause the child has binge eating disorder.
Consequently, internal factor and external factor has bad impact to boost person become anorexia nervosa and binge eating disorder. Anorexia nervosa has bad impact for someone who experienced it, such as consecutive weight loss and decreased fat that causes a decrease in body temperature so that the body is intolerant to cold. Binge eating disorder sufferers will experience overweight or overweight which causes complications for the health of his body.

We can conclude that eating disorders often occur among teenagers, especially young women. There are two factors that cause a person to experience eating disorders, namely internal factors, and external factors. Internal factors include the self-confidence and external factors such as peer influence, bullying by peers, the influence of mass media and family influence.       ( WORDS: 631 )
